DeMisty D. Bellinger has an MFA from Southampton College and a PhD from the University of Nebraska. She has published in many journals and anthologies, including Contrary Magazine, Okay Donkey, The Rumpus, Necessary Fiction, and The Best Small Fictions: 2019. She also has a poetry chapbook, Rubbing Elbows (Finishing Line Press). A Milwaukee native, DeMisty lives and teaches in central Massachusetts. You can find her website at demistybellinger.com.
